  • Ōtani 707

    Notes

= Taishō vol XI 641a22-644b1. In Nogami Shunjō 野上俊静, ed. 1965-1972. Ōtani Daigaku shozō Tonkō koshakyō 大谷大学所蔵敦煌古写経 [Ancient copies of Buddhist scriptures discovered in the Tun-huang caves, now preserved in Otani University]. 2 vols. Kyoto: Ōtani Daigaku Tōyōgaku Kenkyūshitsu: II text 12.

  • BD 16189 B, A, C

    Notes

= Taishō vol XI 640b23–c9. These three fragments obviously belong to the same manuscript, not only on the basis of their continuous text but also because of the handwriting. BD16189B is much less damaged than BD16189A, and BD16189C has been drastically trimmed. Moreover, based on the handwriting, the number of characters per line (17, admittedly a standard number), and the distribution of text, it is quite possible that these three fragments may have belonged originally to the same manuscript as Ōtani 707
